Eraser

The Eraser is an Impostor role that can permanently remove the abilities of other players. Instead of eliminating targets directly, the Eraser weakens the lobby by stripping players of their special roles.

Strategic Disruption

The Eraser can dramatically change the balance of the game by removing powerful roles before they can be used.


Ability: Erase

The Eraser can target a player during the round to erase their role.

However, the erase does not occur immediately.

Instead:

  • The effect is applied after the next meeting ends.
  • The targeted player will lose their role and become a basic crewmate.

Special Mechanics

  • The erase will still occur even if the Eraser dies before the meeting.
  • The erase will still occur if the target dies before the meeting.
  • By default, the Eraser cannot erase other Impostors.

Cooldown Scaling

Each time the Eraser uses their ability:

  • ⏳ The cooldown increases by 10 seconds

This value can be modified in game settings.


Gameplay Strategy

For the Eraser

  • Target high-impact roles such as investigators or protectors.
  • Erase players who are too trusted by the lobby.
  • Use erases early to reduce the crew’s power over time.

For Crewmates

  • If someone suddenly loses their abilities, an Eraser may be present.
  • Protect important roles from being identified.
